
ELIGIBILITY:
1. All entries must have been originated within the Asia-Pacific-Australia
region.
2. TV + Print Ads
Entries submitted must be designed for transmission on television networks,
exhibition in public cinemas, produced, published and displayed between October
13, 2000 and August 31, 2001.
Online Ads
Entries submitted must be designed for posting on the Internet and have been
launched for the first time between October 13, 2000 and August 31, 2001.
3. Entries may not be made without prior permission of the advertisers/owners
of the advertisements.
4. Entries that may offend national or religious sensitivities or prevailing
public morality will not be accepted.
5. The entries that had won the previous Times Asia-Pacific Awards will not
be eligible.
DEADLINE
All entries must be reached the Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards office
no later than September 10, 2001.

AWARDS
1. Best of Shows:
The "Best of Show" awards will be presented to the winners that
selected from among the Gold winners in the categories of television commercials
and print advertisement, respectively. Each winner will receive a trophy along
with an official certificate.
2. Category Prizes:
Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards and Finalist Certificates in category will be
presented to the entering companies that win the highest recognition of the
judge panel. Each winner - Gold, Silver and Bronze - will receive a trophy
along with an official certificate. Each Finalist will be awarded an official
finalist certificate.
- Every entry may be entered as both a product/service or as a technique
category.
- An advertisement may be entered as both a single entry or as part of a campaign
where applicable.
- Each category entry requires a separate individual entry form and fee.
- The Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards reserves the right to move an
entry from one category to another if it is deemed as entering the wrong category.
Entries should not be longer than 180 seconds. Entries must be submitted on 1/2ˇ¨ Betacam SP NTSC 525 or 3/4ˇ¨ U-Matic NTSC standards only. Each video entry must be proceeded by 20 seconds of black or countdown. Each single entry must be on its own cassette. The category, product and title of entry must be clearly indicated on both the videocassette and its case. Submit each campaign series on an individual cassette with approximately two seconds of black between each spot. Non-English entries must be dubbed, subtitled or accompanied by a written English translation. Names of both the agency and the production house must not be included as content in the tape.

For each print entry, submit one identical 35mm slide (do not send slide in glass mounts) and one tear sheet or proof, mounted on a black or white cardboard (no larger than 10cm margin over ad's size) exactly as appeared in the medium used. Please also submit one MO (or CD-ROM) contains all your print entries and indicate PC or Mac system on both the MO and its case. MO (or CD-ROM) submissions will be acceptable with fonts of letters to be outlined. Non-English entries must be accompanied by a written English translation. Please do not paste the English translation form on backside of print cardboards.

Rich Media Internet advertisements that use creative interactive language

The awards ceremony will be held in Taipei on November 17, 2001. The entries that are being selected into the shortlist of the second round of judging will be invited to attend the awards presentation ceremony in Taipei. Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards will provide the delegates with a nice travel package of which includes ceremony admission, dinner banquet and one-night hotel accommodations.
